Member agreement
& digital signature
Every new member must complete a one-time agreement wizard before gaining full platform access. It covers the association's vision, organisational values, all legal policies, and ends with your digital e-signature.
One-time process. The wizard appears automatically on your first login and blocks platform access until completed. It cannot be skipped. If you have a concern about any item, contact the Governing Body at contact@madhunandan.org.in before proceeding.
The 7 Stages
The wizard has a progress bar at the top showing all 7 steps. Each stage must be individually agreed to before the I Agree & Continue button activates. You cannot go back to a previous stage once it is saved.

Scroll-gate on policy stages: for stages 3, 4, and 5 the checkbox is disabled until you scroll to the bottom of the policy document. A "Scroll to read" hint arrow is shown below the document — it fades out once you reach the bottom and the checkbox unlocks.
The E-Signature (Stage 6)
The final stage requires a typed digital signature and a declaration checkbox. Both must be completed before the button changes to Sign & Complete.
- Type your full legal name in the e-signature field. As you type, your name appears live inside the declaration statement below: "I, [Your Name], hereby declare…"
- Tick the declaration checkbox confirming that you have read and voluntarily agree to all terms, policies, vision, mission, objectives and values. The checkbox confirms that your digital signature is legally equivalent to a handwritten signature.
- The signature is encrypted and stored securely with a date stamp. The signed date is shown next to the input field.
- Name must be at least 2 characters. The Sign & Complete button is disabled until both the name and checkbox conditions are met simultaneously.
What Happens on Completion

Agreement savedYour e-signature, completion timestamp, and IP address are recorded in the platform database as an official governance record.

Confirmation screenThe wizard shows an "Agreement Completed ✓" screen with a green tick animation. The progress bar fills to 100%.

Auto-dismissThe wizard closes automatically after 3.5 seconds and you gain full access to all M-Board features.
Viewing Your Agreement Record
After completion, your full agreement record is visible in Profile → Agreement tab. Each record shows:
- Version tag and effective date of the agreement you signed.
- A circular progress ring showing what percentage of stages were completed (100% = fully signed).
- Per-stage completion status with exact timestamps — one row per stage.
- Your e-signature name and the date/time/IP address of signing.
- A Download PDF button (if a signed PDF has been generated) — secured with a single-use HMAC token so it can only be downloaded by you.
If a new version of the agreement is published by the Governing Body, you may be required to complete the wizard again. Your previous agreement records are always retained.
