Polls

Participating in
polls and surveys

Polls gather member opinions on specific topics. Participation helps the association make informed decisions.

How to Respond to a Poll

1
Find the pollActive polls appear on your dashboard with a countdown timer. Click Respond Now to open the response page.
2
Check the response typeThe poll page shows which response method is in use — the same five types as elections apply (Plurality, Majority, Approval, Ranked Choice, Cumulative). The instructions are shown inline.
3
Select your responseFollow the on-screen instructions for your response type. A counter shows how many options you have selected or how many points remain.
4
SubmitClick Submit Response. Responses are final and cannot be changed after submission.
5
Save your receiptYou are redirected to a Poll Response Receipt. Save the PRC-… code as proof of participation.

No Opinion

If the poll allows it, a No Opinion option appears. Selecting it lets you formally participate without choosing any option. Your response is recorded and counted as participation — it is the poll equivalent of Abstain in elections.

Your Poll Receipt

After every successful poll response, M-Board redirects you to a Poll Response Receipt page.

  • Receipt Code — a unique PRC-… code. Save it privately as proof your response was recorded.
  • Verification Code — an 8-character code for cross-checking against the audit log.
  • Print / PDF / Share — action buttons on the receipt page let you save or share your receipt.
