Profile Management

Managing your
account & settings

The Profile page lets you update your personal details, change your password, manage 2FA and trusted devices, set preferences, and view your activity history. Go to Profile → My Profile from the navigation menu.

QR session restriction: if you are logged in via a QR session, Profile Management is fully blocked. You'll see a banner showing your session type, time remaining, and a logout button. Sign in with your username and password to make profile changes.

Profile Tab

Update your personal information. Some fields are read-only and managed by your administrator.

Changing Your Profile Photo

Click the Change button on your avatar (overview strip or Profile tab) to open the photo upload sheet. It has three steps:

Choose photoDrag and drop or click to select an image. Supported: JPEG, PNG, GIF. Maximum size: 5 MB. Your current photo is shown above the dropzone.

CropPan and zoom the image within the circular crop area to frame it exactly as you want. Use the zoom slider to adjust the scale.

Review & UploadPreview your cropped photo at multiple sizes before confirming. Click Upload Photo to save — your avatar updates across the platform immediately.

Security Tab

Change Password — enter your current password, then your new password twice. Requirements: minimum 8 characters, uppercase, lowercase, number, and a special character. The new password must differ from the current one.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) — adds an email OTP step after login. The overview strip shows your current 2FA status (Enabled / Disabled). Toggle it with the Enable/Disable button on the Security tab. Strongly recommended; mandatory for administrators and department managers.

Trusted Devices — lists every device enrolled via the device-trust system. Each row shows device name, last seen, and enrollment status. Click Revoke on any row to immediately sign out that device on its next page load. Revoke All Devices signs out all enrolled devices at once.

Recent Login Activity — shows the last 10 login attempts (successful and failed) with date/time, IP address, browser, and status. Contact your administrator for detailed logs beyond the last 10 entries.

Preferences Tab

Customise how M-Board behaves for you. Changes are saved per account and persist across devices.

  • Theme — Light, Dark, or Auto (follows your device's system preference).
  • Language — Interface language (English, Spanish, French, German).
  • Items per Page — how many items appear per page in lists and tables.
  • Notifications — toggle email notifications, SMS notifications, election reminders, and security alerts independently.

Activity Tab

A chronological timeline of your last 20 account actions — login, profile update, password change, vote cast, file upload, and more. Each entry shows the action description, timestamp, risk level badge, and IP address. Useful for spotting any unexpected activity on your account.

Agreement Tab

Shows your full member agreement history — all versions you have signed, with a progress ring and per-stage completion timestamps. If you have completed the agreement, your digital e-signature name is also displayed. See Agreement & E-Sign for the full guide on the wizard process.

My Participation Tab

A consolidated view of everything you have participated in across M-Board — Events, Elections, and Polls — in one place. Each section shows a summary strip (total, attended/voted, absent/not responded, and your participation rate), followed by a detailed table.

  • Events — all events you have registered for, with registration status (Attended, Registered, Pending, Waitlisted, Cancelled, No Show), check-in and check-out times where recorded, and event category.
  • Elections — all elections you are eligible for, with voting status (Voted, Pending, Not Voted), the date and time you voted (anonymity is preserved — the system only records that you voted, not what you chose), and the election period.
  • Polls — all polls you are eligible for, with response status and whether results have been made public.
Vote and poll choices are never shown here — only participation status (whether you responded). Your ballot is cryptographically separated from your identity.
